Indian Township Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior AV Programmer to join our team. As a Senior AV Programmer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing new AV software and updating existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AV software applications using established methodologies and standards
- Collaborate with the programming team, project managers, engineers, and customers to identify opportunities to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency of software applications
- Conduct unit tests of new or modified AV applications
- Update firmware on AV equipment
- Read and interpret AV drawings
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and specifications
- Write or revise program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides
- Monitor the performance of assigned application software and make approved changes to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness
- Diagnose and correct applications and software problems and improve operating performance
- Document new programs or changes to existing programs
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance
- Design touch panel interfaces
- Assist engineers with system design
- Configure digital signal processors, A/V switchers, and other devices
- Customize systems to meet end-user requirements
- Identify software/hardware issues and troubleshoot them
- Provide support for existing systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- At least 6 years of AV programming experience
- AMX Certified Programmer preferred
- Extron Authorized Programmer preferred
- Extron Control Specialist preferred
- Crestron Masters Certified Programmer preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
