Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. This is a key leadership position that oversees the student conduct adjudication process, administers policies and procedures, and provides training to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Conduct Adjudication: Oversee the student conduct process, including high-profile, complex, and urgent cases, and ensure that all cases are handled in a fair and timely manner.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures related to student conduct, including overseeing case intake, management, and workflow.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to students, faculty, and staff on student conduct policies and procedures, as well as on topics related to student development and conduct.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Serve as a member of the Dean of Students lead team and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the mission and vision of the Office of the Dean of Students.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve student conduct and academic integrity, including identifying best practices and implementing new initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A master's degree in student affairs administration, educational policy, law, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in student conduct or higher education administration, academic discipline, residence life conduct management, or other community agency relating to student development is required.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a student conduct or higher education setting is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal Degree: A terminal degree in student affairs administration, educational policy, law, or a related field is preferred.
  • Additional Experience: Additional experience in student conduct or higher education administration, academic discipline, residence life conduct management, or other community agency relating to student development is preferred.
