We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at DeTar Hospital. As a key member of our Cancer Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth registration process for patients presenting to our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient interviews to obtain registration information and complete required forms
- Obtain signatures from patients and their representatives
- Represent DeTar Hospital as the focal point for all initial communications with patients and their families
- Work non-traditional hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required
- Knowledge of computers and other standard office equipment required
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required
- Medical office experience preferred
