The Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel and ensure that patient safety is maintained at all times.
- Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others, and accurately administer medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and unit activities.
- Collaborate with the medical staff to clarify any orders or treatment regimens that may be inaccurate or contraindicated.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas.
- BLS certification.
- Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
