Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Review and Investigation
    • Support the review and investigation of hospital incident reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Committee Support
    • Provide secretariat support to various committees, including the Total Quality Management Committee and the Incident Review Committee for Serious Reportable Events.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives
    • Coordinate quality improvement initiatives, including the annual review of departmental policies and the organization of the annual Quality & Safety Day.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with external organizations to improve quality and safety standards.
  • Project Management
    • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement projects, including the submission of projects or posters to external award platforms.
  • Surveys and Data Analysis
    • Coordinate and analyze data from surveys, such as the Patient Safety Culture Survey and the Patient Experience Survey.
  • Special Projects
    • Undertake special projects or initiatives as assigned by the supervisor and/or Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare quality, preferably clinical quality related.
  • Skills
    • Excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Personality Traits
    • Highly motivated and self-driven with a positive can-do attitude and perseverance to overcome challenges.
