Mt. Washington Baptist Daycare is seeking a reliable and nurturing individual to join its team as an Afternoon Transportation Coordinator. This role involves safely transporting children from local schools to and from our center, as well as assisting in other areas of the program as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Safely transport children from local schools to and from our center, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.
  • Program Support: Assist in other areas of the program as needed, including classrooms, cleaning, and other tasks.
  • Backup Driver: Be available to fill in as a backup driver for our morning program when needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with fellow staff and families as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Must be able to pass a background check and obtain and maintain state-mandated trainings (CPR, 1st Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Recognition).
  • Age and Driving Record: Must be at least 25 years old and have a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education: One year of experience working in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Child Development Associates: Possession of a Child Development Associates (CDA) credential.
  • Ohio SUTQ Rules: Familiarity with Ohio's Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) rules and regulations.
