Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Driver to join our team at Evergreen Retirement Community. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our residents to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities- Transport residents on scheduled trips and special events, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Monitor the condition of the vehicle and coordinate necessary maintenance to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed, providing support and care during transportation.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, performing regular interior and exterior cleaning to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for residents.
- Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed, working with our maintenance team to ensure prompt resolution.
- Experience driving a large vehicle, such as a van, truck, or bus.
- A valid driver's license to operate the building's vehicle.
- A safe driving record, in accordance with Senior Lifestyle company policy.
- The ability to drive a vehicle without being easily distracted by talking passengers or other external factors.
- A CDL license.
