Job Description:

The Lutheran Social Services of New York is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bilingual Case Management Support Specialist to join our team.

**Job Summary:**

The Bilingual Case Management Support Specialist will provide administrative support to our Case Managers in the evening and weekend hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing intake assessments, documenting services, and assisting potential sponsors with family reunification packets.

**Responsibilities:**

* Complete intake assessments and screen for human trafficking concerns
* Document services in detail and maintain accurate records
* Assist potential sponsors with completion of family reunification packets
* Assist in the supervision of unaccompanied children when needed
* Review, scan, and file UC logs and other documentation
* Create UC charts and ensure proper filing
* Maintain and organize charts accordingly
* Complete chart audits and portal checks to ensure all documentation is audit-ready
* Document and report all major and minor incidents in accordance with agency policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations
* Work evening and weekend hours on an ongoing basis

**Requirements:**

* Associate's degree or higher
* Experience working with immigrant youth or child welfare services
* Good communication and writing skills in English and Spanish
* Ability to work collaboratively with others
* Superior organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
* Experience with Microsoft Applications
