Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous Lead Financial Analyst to join our finance team based in Columbia, Maryland, Reno, Nevada, or Memphis, TN. This role requires in-office presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring precise and timely reporting.
- Manage customer invoicing and revenue recognition, adhering to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and scrutinize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform necessary reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to prepare and submit sales tax returns and other regulatory documents.
- Support the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures to enhance financial operations.
- Aid in financial audits and implement audit recommendations as necessary.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities to optimize working capital.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a warehouse or 3PL environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP with experience in financial reporting and revenue recognition.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a remote work setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and foster a positive workplace culture.
