Job Summary:

This role is responsible for aiding in the planning and execution of daily construction activities to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will provide technical support under the supervision of project leaders (Superintendent/Project Manager).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project schedules and track progress, updating schedules as directed.
  • Assist with tracking project materials to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the permitting process.
  • Contribute to project close-out activities, including punch lists, warranties, and closeout documents/O&M manuals for submission to the Owner.
  • Coordinate client sign-off and final inspections as requested.
  • Prepare and maintain submittal, change order, request for information, and contingency logs.
  • Distribute contract drawing updates as directed.
  • Support preparation and distribution of meeting minutes for weekly project status meetings after internal review/approval.
  • Collaborate with Project Management on change management processes, including logging change events, soliciting subcontractor quotations, and quantity take-offs if required.
  • Prepare change requests for submission to the Owner as needed.
  • Manage the subcontractor and vendor bid process.
  • Analyze construction documents to aid in the bidding process.
  • Work with Project Manager/Project Executive to send projects out for bid and follow up with subcontractors/vendors on bid intentions.
  • Collect and organize bid documents (drawings, specifications, etc.).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore/project management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
  • Proven experience following up on communication and issues identified.

Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
