Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to join our team at Centerboard. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily tracking and reporting of Housing Program data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the tracking and reporting of data for Housing Services with the HMIS team, ETO, and MyEvolve.
  • Provide accurate reporting of families in shelter, stabilization, and other required EHOLC data elements.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for data and create regular and special reports as needed for compliance, program improvement, funding proposals, and other purposes.
  • Conduct audits as needed to ensure accuracy of information reported in all databases utilized to track housing information.
  • Meet with staff to discuss data entry, provide technical support, and hold scheduled zoom calls for data entry assistance.
  • Review and update data collection processes and systems to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the housing services team to ensure accurate documentation of family shelter numbers and develop strategies for data collection best practices.
  • Assist with tracking CQI for the organization and reporting data quarterly and annually.
  • Review data for trends and make recommendations to leaders to achieve organizational priorities and goals.
  • Attend programmatic meetings as required and complete independent projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to collect, extract, and convey detailed, accurate information and create visual data presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, asking clarifying questions, and articulating information effectively.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
