Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Montessori Children's House Lead Guide to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our preschool age students.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Montessori method and have experience working with children in a group setting. They will be able to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a child-led approach to education, providing personalized support to each student
  • Create a beautiful and orderly learning environment that encourages concentration and deep learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Obtained or willing to obtain a Montessori diploma for 3-6 year olds
  • 2+ years of experience working with preschool age children in a group setting
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori
