Position Overview:

Metas Solutions is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Engineer & Tester. In this capacity, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive portal designed for state, tribal, local, or territorial (STLT) entities. This portal will function as a centralized hub for communication, resources, and technical assistance, enabling users to access vital tools and systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve issues while monitoring quality assurance standards to evaluate application performance, documenting findings, and communicating defects to the development team for enhancements.
  • Enhance your expertise in various testing methodologies, including manual, automated, usability, user acceptance testing, and process improvement.
  • Expand your capabilities in documenting system deficiencies, leading teams, mentoring colleagues, and estimating testing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance testing.
  • Proficiency in manual, automation, and performance testing across platforms such as Microsoft Power Pages, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
  • Experience in test case planning and constructing a regression test case suite.
  • Familiarity with integration testing, regression testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End User Training (EUT).
  • Knowledge of agile project management tools, including Jira, Jira Xray, and GitHub.
  • Experience with test automation and programming languages commonly utilized in testing (e.g., Gherkin, C#, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Python).
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with REST API and tools like Postman.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to quickly grasp complex application functionalities, business rules, and dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Scrum methodology and experience working within a scrum team.
  • Experience testing applications on large-scale enterprise, low-code/no-code software platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
  • Experience in demonstrating new functionalities to stakeholders.
