Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care and transportation services to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills in emergency medical services.
- Adhere to Ochsner Health System's policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Graduate from an accredited paramedic program with a license to practice in the State of Louisiana.
- 4 years of current paramedic field care experience.
- Prior air medical transport experience is preferred.
- National Registry license to practice in the State of Mississippi and CPR Healthcare Provider Certification are required.
- Preferred certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with confidential information.
