Job Summary:

As a Combo Welder at Brown & Root Industrial Services, you will be responsible for laying out, aligning, and welding fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms. Your expertise in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes will be essential in selecting the type and size of pipe or other related materials and equipment according to specifications. Additionally, you will select equipment and plan layouts, assembly, and welding, ensuring that components are properly positioned, aligned, and fitted together. Your attention to detail and ability to work with metal components will be crucial in meeting the demands of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out, align, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms.
  • Select type and size of pipe or other related materials and equipment according to specifications.
  • Select equipment and plan layouts, assembly, and welding.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together in various body positions.
  • Bolt, clamp, and weld together metal components of products.
