Position Overview:

The Showroom Assistant Manager is pivotal in driving sales growth, fostering exceptional client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.

This role is ideally suited for energetic individuals with a background in luxury sales, knowledge of carpets and rugs, and familiarity with the design trade industry. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, resilience, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.



Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:
Lead by example to achieve and surpass personal sales targets, significantly contributing to the showroom's overall sales performance.

Effectively engage with potential clients, enhancing sales strategies and maintaining a client-centric focus.

Provide expert guidance on product selection by understanding client needs, ensuring a client-first approach.

Client Relationship Management and Sales Development:
Develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain robust, lasting client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, striving for quick resolutions that support both team and personal sales objectives.

Utilize technological tools and platforms to enhance client communication and relationship management, streamlining sales processes and improving client engagement.

Cultural and Sales Leadership:
Embody and promote the firm’s mission, vision, and values, focusing on sales excellence, creativity, and client service.

Encourage a team culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and a sales-oriented mindset, ensuring all team members are motivated and equipped to achieve sales targets.

Guide and support showroom staff, emphasizing the importance of sales achievements through personalized coaching and leveraging technology to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.


Showroom Operations:
Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring alignment with the firm’s standards and contributing to sales success.

Champion the integration of technology in the showroom to improve operational and sales efficiency, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Qualifications:

Required:
B.A. / B.S. Degree, preferably in Interior Design or a related field.

5 years of sales experience within the trade.

Preferred sales leadership experience.

Demonstrated strong interest in the interior design trade, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork.

Exhibit excellent negotiation capabilities, combining strong communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of business needs, and the ability to be assertive yet empathetic, characteristic of high-performing managers.

A deep understanding of sales strategies and a commitment to customer service excellence.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually

Base pay commensurate with experience. Eligible for additional sales commission and/or sales incentive bonus.
