Job Description

This contract Special Education Teacher position involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. As a member of our team, you will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to create personalized learning plans and promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

  • You will implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and design instructional materials to address the unique needs of each student.
  • You will provide direct instruction and utilize various teaching techniques to promote student engagement and learning.
  • You will assess and monitor student progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to instruction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field;
  • A Master's degree is preferred;
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff;
