  • Oversee all dimensions of project management including cost-benefit analysis, development of work plans, functional and technical design, testing, and monitoring of technical implementations.
  • Deliver weekly updates on project scope, budget, and timeline, highlighting accomplishments, milestones, tasks, obstacles, issues, and risks associated with each project.
  • Define project scope, create comprehensive plans, and manage schedules to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
  • Enforce established policies and controls to guarantee effective management and reporting of all project initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and cultivate a collaborative atmosphere to meet project objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively, providing both verbal and written updates, and offer recommendations for project decisions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to prioritize and deliver high-quality IT solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within business and technical plans; develop Risk Mitigation Strategies and Contingency Plans for all identified risks, maintaining a project-level issue and risk matrix log.
  • Ensure compliance of all project activities with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly in the biometrics and security sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with FICAM standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and perform effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with federal agencies or within a government contracting framework.
  • Awareness of current trends and advancements in biometrics and security technologies.
