We are seeking a committed Project Manager I to lead various minor maintenance initiatives and contracts. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed successfully while maintaining our standards of excellence.
Essential Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of four years' experience in overseeing minor maintenance projects
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to architecture, engineering, or construction/project management
- Experience in defining project scope, timelines, and budget estimates
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Familiarity with bidding and contracting processes as well as construction methodologies
- Capability to facilitate project reviews and engage with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of building regulations and permitting procedures
- Knowledge of various systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Oversee minor maintenance contracts of varying values
- Collaborate with users to establish project scope
- Identify potential project risks and implement necessary measures
- Prepare project cost estimates and financial plans
- Track project progress to ensure timely completion
- Conduct bidding processes and recommend suitable contractors
