Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Solar Asset Performance Analyst to join our growing Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and reporting on the performance of all Soltage assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily reviews of asset performance data and investigate any issues or anomalies to drive performance improvements.
- Generate and publish comprehensive rolling summary reports on a daily basis, providing key insights into asset performance trends.
- Maintain meticulous records of all open operations and maintenance (O&M) issues, effectively communicating their status to the Portfolio and Asset Management Teams.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to optimize O&M activities in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing electricity and renewable energy credit (REC) production for all assets.
- Quantify production losses and conduct thorough waterfall loss analysis to identify contributing factors across all assets.
- Review and track O&M deliverables, ensuring project compliance by monitoring progress, investigating issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of O&M deliverables within the Soltage Asset Management tracking system.
- Manage spare parts inventory for all assets to ensure timely availability and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, materials science, applied mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer skills with the ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work within established timeframes.
- Strong analytical capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative, to effectively interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
