The Land Banking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of land banking transactions, from initial approval to closing, ensuring all documentation aligns with corporate objectives and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reimbursement processes, coordinating lot takedowns, and ensuring timely financial reporting and payments.
  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics of land banking transactions, from initial approval to successful closing.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all legal aspects are addressed, contracts are executed in a timely manner, and compliance with regulatory requirements is maintained.
  • Review and approve HUD settlement statements, ensuring accuracy of financial terms and alignment with deal expectations.
  • Coordinate with the treasury team to guarantee the timely disbursement of funds and ensure proper financial execution of each transaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework in contract law, real estate development, or financial management is preferred.
  • PMP, CCIM) may be advantageous but is not required.
  • 3-5 years in real estate finance, land development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.
  • Familiarity with land banking processes, legal contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with project management and financial analysis software (e.g., Excel, real estate management tools).
