About the Position

This is a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Public Health Sciences, with a primary appointment in the Brain Institute. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in public health and health equity, with a focus on neuroscience research.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an active, extramurally funded research program in public health and health equity in the neurosciences.
  • Demonstrate a track record of productivity and peer-reviewed biomedical and/or public health research.
  • Contribute to the Brain Institute in health equity research, educational and training pipelines, and community outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Train and mentor students in public health and health equity research.
Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in public health or any of the Public Health disciplines, or any other related discipline. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the capacity to develop and/or maintain a high-quality independent research program.
