Position Overview
As a Senior Medical Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality outpatient medical services under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer. Your responsibilities will include adhering to established clinic protocols and policies while ensuring comprehensive care for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans, while coordinating necessary referrals for specialized services, laboratory tests, and imaging.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with specialist physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and diagnostic processes.
  • Provide expert consultation to various medical departments as requested by senior medical leadership.
  • Oversee and mentor medical students, allied health trainees, and residents within the department.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of health programs relevant to your specialty.
  • Participate in research initiatives and special projects, subject to appropriate approvals.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities to enhance departmental performance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic health record system.
  • Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the scope of your role.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a medical degree from an accredited institution and have completed a residency program recognized by an American Specialty Board in Internal Medicine.
  • Hold a valid Physician's Certificate issued by the relevant state medical board.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in a primary care environment or equivalent residency training.

Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance.

Work Environment
The role involves physical demands typical of a medical practice, including standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move objects weighing over 100 pounds.
