Key Responsibilities:
  • Employ model-based systems engineering techniques to develop and integrate systems modeling language (SysML)-compliant models and generate DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) documentation.
  • Analyze and synthesize data from DoD technical documents to incorporate into system models utilizing tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler within a Digital Engineering Environment (DEE).
  • Utilize various methods to perform analysis of alternatives, ensuring confidence levels are maintained within specified mission contexts.
  • Implement appropriate technology capabilities, assess risks, and evaluate alternatives to derive the most cost-effective and high-performance solutions for Mission Partner operations.
  • Apply optimal methods, processes, and tools to enhance solution effectiveness against cost, risk, and performance constraints.
  • Possess familiarity with Decision Analysis Approaches, including multicriteria, probabilistic, and linear programming techniques.
  • Leverage model-based Multidisciplinary Optimization and Analysis (MDAO) capabilities to conduct analysis of alternatives within a Digital Engineering Environment.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for the required degree.
    • Further education may be credited towards experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency with SysML terminology, DoDAF, MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, CATIA, or similar systems modeling tools.
  • Experience in engineering analysis, including data collection, organization, and analysis.
  • Proven leadership experience in systems engineering teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • OCSMP SysML or INCOSE certifications.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM).
  • Experience in modeling or simulating systems within Department of Defense domains.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, AFSIM, SIMDIS, or comparable modeling and simulation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, VBA, or STK.
Clearance Requirements:
  • This position necessitates an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain stationary for more than 50% of the time.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with peers and senior personnel.
  • Frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity equipment.
  • Regular communication with co-workers, management, and clients, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
  • Occasional mobility within the office to access files and equipment.
The projected compensation range for this role is $121,800-$204,100, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
