Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can adapt to varying schedules and is eager to grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance staff to ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Engage with management at all levels to identify and address current and future operational needs.
  • Enhance and maintain existing Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Revise and manage the Preventative Maintenance timetable.
  • Oversee the inventory of spare parts and supplies for the facility.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations by keeping accurate records.
  • Advise the Plant Engineer on operational efficiency and departmental issues.
  • Participate in meetings, generate reports, and handle documentation as required.
  • Prepare and review PM worksheets for maintenance technicians.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Report any issues to the Plant Engineer promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with conveyorized ovens, mixers, proofers, and packaging machinery, along with all supporting equipment in a baking environment.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC systems.
  • Proficient in Computer-Assisted Maintenance Systems.
  • Knowledge of frequency drives, control panels, relays, solenoids, sensors, limit switches, and circuit breakers up to 480 volts.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose and repair production and packaging machinery.
