About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Flowers Baking Co. of Villa Rica, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all plant facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in the performance of assigned duties and provide guidance to junior staff members.
  • Plan, assign, and supervise the work of engineering personnel on assigned shifts.
  • Train new employees in accordance with established training programs and plant procedures.
  • Supervise and/or participate in the repair and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
  • Read, understand, and implement schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain good employee relations and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations, maintenance, or utilities operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical wiring, motor control, PLC, equipment repair, and industrial equipment installation, start-up, and repair.
  • Experience in the installation, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical equipment through troubleshooting.
  • Experience or knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), and networking devices, with Allen Bradley experience a plus.
  • Managing/overseeing a preventative maintenance program.
  • SAP experience a plus.

Education

An Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology and/or equivalent formal training and work experience, with completion of formal management skills training program.
