About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Total Wine & More. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and engaging with customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
  • Learn and stay up-to-date on our extensive product portfolio, including fine wines, beers, and spirits, to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales and product metrics targets, including increasing retail sales and product knowledge.
  • Replenish and maintain inventory and store visual presentation, including home spots, end caps, and platforms, to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment.
  • Perform cashier functions and adhere to company policies and procedures while completing customer transactions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, lockers, kitchen, bathroom, and other areas.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business requires.
  • Experience using technology, such as point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Desire to develop retail sales skills and knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
  • 1 year of experience as a store associate or customer service representative, including greeting customers, building relationships, and resolving customer issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive and engaging attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Wine and spirits experience in a retail sales environment is a plus.
