Job Summary:

Assist workers engaged in the fabrication of forged products by performing various duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform tasks to support the fabrication process, including sweeping dies, operating furnace controls, and cleaning and lubricating dies.

Function as a scale blower and operate tools required to set dies and trimmers.

Set up and use impression stamps.

Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.

Perform other routine duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one situations with supervisors or other employees.

Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19 to $19 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
