Mechanical Assembly Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Assembly Specialists for 2nd and 3rd shift positions in Richmond, Virginia. The selected candidates will assist with loading and offloading materials, move items within the department, and train to assemble units independently.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Moving items within the department
  • Preparing assembly units
  • Using hand and power tools for assembly
  • Operating an overhead crane
  • Processing outbound shipments using FedEx software
  • Handling inventory tasks

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and using touchscreen computer systems.

Requirements:
  • Assembly experience using hand and power tools
  • Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
  • Receiving and verifying shipments
  • Inventory management using RF scanners
  • Processing shipments with FedEx software
  • Soft skills such as attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving

Estimated salary range is $48,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience.
