Job Title: Antenna Array Development Engineer

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Antenna Array Development Engineer to join our RF Technology Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced antenna arrays for next-generation RF systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop advanced antenna arrays for RF systems
  • Develop and integrate microwave hardware, including beamformers, T/R modules, receivers, transmitters, and components
  • Participate in and oversee small teams from concept through development, including system and component modeling, experimental prototyping, and microwave measurements
  • Lead a small team of developers in larger system designs

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field, with emphasis on antenna design and testing
  • Hands-on research experience with RF and microwave systems

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with full-wave simulation tools, including FEKO and Ansys HFSS
  • Knowledge of microwave circuit design tools, including Keysight Advanced Design System and/or AWR Microwave Office
  • Experience with active array calibration and near-field measurement ranges
