Position Summary
Mountain View Hospital is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to established protocols for infection control and safety.
- Ensure cleanliness in all assigned areas, including:
- Dry tasks: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying waste receptacles.
- Wet tasks: disinfecting surfaces, mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms.
- Manage linen supplies by stocking clean linens and collecting soiled items.
- Organize and maintain housekeeping storage areas in a neat manner.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Perform cleaning duties across various departments as required.
- Handle waste disposal following established procedures.
- Exhibit a responsible and efficient work ethic, demonstrating teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Complete tasks with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and management regarding scheduling and assignments.
