The Nashville Shared Services Center is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join their team as a Senior Accounting Analyst.

This role will focus on reconciling complex accounts and assisting in the integration of work into NSSC Financial Accounting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of major accounting information for the company.

The position requires a strong proficiency in account reconciliations, problem solving, process improvement, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of skills, including the processing of transactions in the general ledger system, working well with others in a team atmosphere, supporting the month end closing process, and reconciling the general ledger to sub-ledgers for key areas of responsibility.


MAIN TASKS:
Coordinate and prepare significant account reconciliations and analysis

Assist with SAP systems management and testing

Work with Financial Leadership to implement better reporting and analysis

Identify areas for process improvement and work with appropriate Corporate and business units to design, test, and implement solutions

Provide training and development opportunities to the general ledger team

Design, implement, and maintain standardized accounting practices

Work closely with business units' finance staff, Internal Audit, Corporate staff departments, external auditors, offshore resources, and other key members of the Corporate Controller's group

Provide analysis, insight, and reconciliation of acquisitions, inter-company, payroll liabilities, cash, disbursements, and other requests from senior management

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance

MBA and/or CPA preferred

3-5 years of professionals accounting experience required

Strong technical and analytic skills required

Ability to multitask and management shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Understanding of multi-entity accounting and intra/intercompany eliminations

Solid understandings of generally accepted accounting theory

Ability to design and implement complex reconciliations and general ledger reports

Excellent problem solving, communications, interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills required

Accounting Shared Service experience in a large, mulit-national, publicly-held corporation preferred

Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, and SAP system experience preferred
