We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Critical Care team at Primary Children's Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, at the top of licensure and within your scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement plans of care.
- Participate in procedures such as ECMO, intubations, chest tube placement, and mechanical circulatory support device placement.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care 24/7, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Other certification as required: PALS.
