Job Description

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.00, reflecting the actual starting rate for this position in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location in Findlay, OH.

You will be responsible for:

  • Answering phones and greeting donors while ensuring their safety and satisfaction
  • Screening new and repeat donors and recording their vital signs and finger stick results
  • Preparing donor charts and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating donor compensation and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • The ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • The ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
