About the Role

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is a key member of the Field Marketing team, responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of AVI-SPL's annual event marketing strategic plan. This includes trade shows, customer-facing field events, and internal events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with logistics for events and tradeshows, including registration, hotel reservations, food orders, and shipping.
  • Track expenses related to events and provide support to Regional offices/staff with tradeshow materials.
  • Maintain and track event and exhibit inventory.
  • Coordinate creation of new material as needed.
  • Travel to support events, as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build alliances with individuals and community.
  • A willingness to learn in a fast-paced, growing company; willingness to take on multiple levels of responsibility.
  • Excellent computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to accurately manage priorities and workflow within set timeframes.
