Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise Assistant Store Manager, Human Resources Manager, Loss Prevention Manager, and Promotions Manager
  • Ensure the store is staffed with service-oriented associates and participate in interviewing and selection
  • Coordinate training, prepare and approve performance appraisals, and recommend merit and promotional increases
  • Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Meet or exceed financial plans, control company assets, and monitor cash management
  • Execute sales and payroll plans, maintain merchandising directives, and resolve customer and associate issues
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and training, and addressing complaints and resolving problems
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in high-volume retail management, with multi-store experience desired
  • Ability to calculate figures, define problems, and interpret financial information
  • Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic point-of-sale and inventory management systems
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
