LifeVest Patient Support Specialist

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a LifeVest Patient Support Specialist to provide patient training and support for our lifesaving medical technology. As an independent contractor, you will work with patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest, providing them with the necessary training and support to ensure they understand and can effectively use the device.
This role offers flexibility, allowing specialists to accept or decline assignments based on their schedule. Most assignments can be scheduled during free time, such as before or after work, and on days off.
Responsibilities:
- Contact caregivers and family to schedule services
- Train the patient and other caregivers on the use of LifeVest
- Program LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's orders
- Measure the patient and determine correct garment size
- Review paperwork with the patient and have them sign
- Transmit signed copies to ZOLL within 24 hours
- Manage device and garment inventory
Qualifications:
- 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment
- Completion of background check (fee not paid by ZOLL)
- Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
- Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
