We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Guardian Angels Elim Home Care. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing quality meals and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with dining room setup and cleanup after each meal
- Set up trays and serve meals and beverages as needed, including delivering carts
- Assist with meal preparation, making juices for meals, and preparing for snack time
- Vacuum and clean the dining room
- Follow departmental procedures, including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules, dress code, and policies and procedures
- Properly wash and store all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Properly dispose of refuse
- Mop kitchen floor and beverage area floor
- Assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents
- Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, with the ability to organize and prioritize
- Maintains good attendance and punctuality
