Key Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver individualized care using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking.
- Provide patient-centered care that adapts to diverse population characteristics, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs.
- Partner with patients and families to set and achieve care goals, using effective communication and collaboration methods.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Coordinate safe and quality patient care, including timely documentation and diverse communication methods.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance to promote safe and quality patient care.
- Complete ongoing professional competency assessments, mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes, such as reducing readmission rates and adverse events.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred).
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia (Single State) and RN licensure in multiple states (Multi-state Compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
