Job Description

We are looking for an experienced nurse educator to collaborate with our market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing and experience in the teaching and learning process.

Responsibilities
  • Implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff at Tenet Healthcare facilities, focusing on orientation, continuing education, and in-services.
  • Support the educational needs for assigned units/clinics, including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies.
  • Ensure program/course revisions meet Department of Nursing and regulatory expectations and standards.
  • Provide consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Deliver/co-ordinate other educational programs as directed (e.g., Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education, job-specific and specialty curricula) to support competence and professional growth of Tenet nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in nursing or related field.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in area of specialization.
  • Experience in the teaching and learning process.
  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in Commonwealth of MA.
  • BLS, ACLS certification required.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
