Responsibilities:
  • Order entry for new and refill medications
  • Filing documentation as required by pharmacy regulations
  • Responding to customer inquiries as necessary
  • Filling drug kits under direct supervision, applying accuracy and aseptic technique
  • Matching preprinted labels and delivery manifests with source documents
  • Locating medication from the pharmacy supply area, counting out, and packaging in the correct system
  • Preparing medications according to standard procedures
  • Assisting in other phases of computer operations, including billing procedures
  • Cleaning all equipment and work areas
  • Checking equipment for calibration and safety
  • Rotating stock as required
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician, preferred
  • Previous pharmacy experience required
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
