Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at RTX. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees in a fast-paced dynamic environment to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in workforce planning and forecasting, employee hiring and training, time and attendance tracking, area layout and flow management, and safety improvement discussions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives, and will be responsible for achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of schedule and cost
- Measure and maintain key performance metrics
- Maintaining audit readiness
- Assist in managing warehouse workflow; monitor and resolve aging work
- Coordinate with and monitor other warehouse areas including RMD sites and 3PL providers
- Work with other logistics departments to share resources and cross train workforce
- Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
- Ensuring the enforcement of company policies and procedures
- Utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets
Requirements:
- Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years or prior relevant experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
