Senior Staff Accountant

ALKU is a dynamic and innovative company that values diversity and inclusion. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax filings.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, and perform analyses to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
  • Support monthly financial consolidation of balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax filings for multiple entities.
  • Collaborate with auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with ASC 842 or ASC 606.
