We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator Specialist to collaborate with our AV System Designers and contribute to the installation and commissioning of AV technology. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing AV construction documents and scope of work.
  • Providing drawings for submittals and quotations to the Engineering Department.
  • Supporting the Operations Department with documentation for customer-installed systems.
  • Developing a comprehensive naming and storage scheme for archiving customer drawings.
  • Staying updated on new technologies and standards to ensure accurate documentation processes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with CAD technology or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and develop layouts from schematics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Superior customer service skills for interacting with both internal and external customers.
