Your schedule will be flexible, with afternoons, evenings, and weekends available. You will be responsible for assisting individuals with personal care needs and skill training, working independently in participants' homes and in the community. You must be able to use your own vehicle for transportation of consumers. You will also be responsible for assisting all individuals with their daily needs, ensuring that all activities are reflective of their choices. You will take initiative to integrate individuals into the community in areas of their choice, assist them in meeting goals identified in their DESE Support Plan, and expose them to new ideas and choices to assist in their continued growth and development. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of all individuals, following all Individual and Program Specific Safety Plans and approved Positive Behavior Support Plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining a courteous professional attitude while conducting business, effectively communicating with all LifeStream personnel, family members, and community contacts. The ideal candidate will have a current Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) certification, a valid driver's license, and a negative drug screen. You will also need to use your personal vehicle for work purposes and have a commitment to the philosophy of community inclusion.
