Senior Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility Specialist

As a key member of the medical team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties, including radiologic imaging, patient care, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities- Perform radiologic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Provide patient care and education, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services
- One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility, in the California state service
- Or three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist
- Or one year of experience as a radiologic technologist and successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association
This position may require travel and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a high level of professionalism in a dynamic environment.
