Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled Radiologic Technologist. As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility Specialist, you will be responsible for performing advanced radiologic procedures and leading a team of Radiologic Technologists in a correctional facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy
  • Lead and supervise a team of Radiologic Technologists, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and implement radiologic procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient histories and radiologic findings
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology
  • One year of experience performing radiologic procedures in a correctional facility setting
  • Three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist
  • Successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association
