About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Health Technician to join our team at Nevada County. As a Health Technician, you will provide administrative support and assistance to the Behavioral Health Team, working closely with our clinical team to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and answering phones.
  • Assist the Children's Behavioral Health clinical team and its clients with various tasks and projects.
  • Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in community and mental health preferred.
  • At least one year of full-time, general clerical, data entry, and typing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity.
