The Cardiology Technician plays a critical role in our team, responsible for performing cardiac diagnostic procedures, such as EKGs and EKG MUSE Medical entry and records. Additional responsibilities may include EEG, treadmill exercise tests, Holter monitoring, and scanning, pacemaker analysis, and telephonic arrhythmia monitoring. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current BLS Healthcare Provider certification, an EKG course completion within 30 days of hire, and knowledge of medical terminology. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in cardiovascular technology or certification from the National Board for Cardiovascular Technology, completion of a basic arrhythmia class, EEG experience, and one year of experience performing EKGs and treadmill exercise testing in an acute care hospital.
