About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Ophthalmic Specialist to support ophthalmologists in providing exceptional patient care. This position involves collaborating with medical professionals to deliver top-notch eye care services, ensuring patients receive personalized attention and expert treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist ophthalmologists in clinical procedures and treatments, including outpatient surgeries
  • Prepare patients for exams, routine procedures, and surgical procedures, guaranteeing their comfort and safety throughout
  • Take comprehensive patient medical histories, documenting ocular, medical, and family information
  • Instruct patients on medications, tests, and procedures, promoting clear understanding and compliance
  • Perform diagnostic testing and assessments under the direction of ophthalmologists

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic tests and utilizing ophthalmic equipment
  • Knowledge of diagnostic ophthalmic equipment and clinical lab functions
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
